privacy
This site runs on Contexture. It respects you.
It knows only what you let it, anonymously, in first-party storage you could clear right now. The product, demonstrated on itself.
What Contexture collects on this site
- An anonymous first-party identifier. A random UUID in your own browser storage. Not tied to your name, email, or any real-world identity.
- Behavioral attributes only. Visit count, pageviews, time on site, recency, and the engagement scores calculated from them.
- No PII. No name, no email (unless you hand it to the excerpt form yourself), no fingerprinting.
- No third-party sharing. The context stays first-party. It is not sold, brokered, or synced to ad networks.
Consent gates everything
Before you tap show my real context in the bar at the top, nothing is written to storage and nothing is profiled. That toggle is the consent action. You can watch the ticker switch from a labeled sample to your real, live context the moment you allow it. That is the exact pattern the book prescribes, running on the site that sells the book.
You are in control
Clear your browser storage and the profile is gone. There is no server-side shadow copy, no enforcement beacon, nothing to phone home. The data lives with you because that is the entire point of an owned, first-party context layer.
Analytics
Beyond the dogfooded Contexture, this site uses privacy-first analytics with no cookies and no Google Analytics, consistent with everything above.
final policy wording is a content task; this is the exemplary plain-language draft in the brand voice. analytics provider (plausible or fathom) wired at build.
